This hotel was ideally situated in the french quarter... a good location and a good value for first time visitors. We had some cleanliness issues in our room--we spotted a few roaches and the carpet was damp and smelled musty. Parking will set you back about * dollars a night so that eats into your savings on the room. Otherwise this was an okay stay.

We are a younger couple who live approx. 50 miles out of the city and recently had a very enjoyable weekend in New Orleans. The hotel location is great, staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean. I look forward to staying here in the future. The only unexpected cost was daily parking which we thought would be a one time charge for the entire weekend.

We stayed at Holiday Inn French Quarters for 3 days in June, 2010. We wanted a little R & R. The hotel was dated but we found it pretty clean with a fresh coat of paint. Elevators are extremely slow and limited to only 10 riders so I suggest checking out a little earlier than the 11:00am checkout time to "beat the lines" at the elevators. Parking garage is $* per night so be sure to factor that cost into the "good deal" on hotel's per day rate. If you are going to N.O. to party, then this is your hotel as it it situated in the middle of the French Quarter. Unfortunately for me, we went for R & R so the constant noise (until 4:00am) that could easily be heard from the 17th floor was unwelcomed. We slept very little and actually left a day earlier than previously planned so we could return home for a bit of R & R.

I stayed at this hetel on June 11, 2006. I was down there to just relax and attend the New Orleans Seafood Festival, and a wedding in Hammonds, LA. This hotel needs a good cleaning from corner to corner. My room flooded from another room. Woke up at 7:30 am to use the bathroom and myfeet were greeted by wet carpet. The wet carpet smelled terrible if you know what I mean!!!! Next thing I hear is a vacuum outside of the door. We had stay up late, so yes this really was not good Also, website said free parking for customers. This is not true. Parking is $* per day. We checked out at 8;40 am and hit the road.
