This Sheraton was a zoo. The elevators were so crowded that I walked up 33 flights of stars to my room and still beat the rest of my party there by 10 minutes. The swimming pool is very tiny for such a large hotel. The location was great.

Hotel was nice and very nicely located for what I wanted out of my stay. I was surprised at so the the charges, $* per nite for parking, $* per day for use of the Gym, and $* to $* for internet in your room, just seemed a bit much. Services were great and I did enjoy my stay.

For the price we paid (mystery room) it was worth the stay. Room was ok, I was nervous as to where our room would be because of the low rate we paid, it was good though - view of Canal Street. I felt room was overall average, if this is a 4 star I would NEVER stay in a 3 star in NO. Yes, I would go back if iI got the same deal. Service was very good - very friendly staff. Parking is xtra as well as use of gym.

I am not disgruntled, but my advise is to not stay at this hotel. If I paid $ I wouldn't bother writing this review but nearly $night for substandard quality mandates me to warn others of imminent disappointments. I promise you that I have stayed at better "Motel 6" rooms than this Sheraton! And I knew of the substandard quality from other reviewers but I dissmised them. The very small room, the cracks in the ceiling, the thin uncomfortable pillows, the inadequate house keeping, the overly priced restaurant, all true. At midnight the house keeper came to clean the room adjacent to ours with slamming doors and vaccum noise. Not even the soda machines were working. Location is important but other hotels in the area are plentiful.
